Singer was born on 26 November 1986, at Santa Monica California. The singer is the sole child of Vincenzo Barba. She and her family moved from Point Pleasant in New Jersey when she was 6. The school she attended was Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. After that, she went to Catholic University and graduated with an undergraduate degree in architecture. Also she started playing the violin from when she was four years old and was called Violin Girl. A result of her musical performance, she was referred to as the Violin Girl. Also, she was a violin teacher for the youngsters in the area. When she was 19 she was a contestant on the 6th season of American Idol and sang the 1976 single Free. But she was eliminated following finishing 16th in the competition. There were several songs she performed like 'The Christmas Sing 2009' as well as 'Out for Blood in 2010'. She also appeared in a variety of TV shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live! Antonella Barba became famous as an American during her time on American Idol's 6th season. After she was eliminated following 16th place on the show she also started to do it in the front of camera.
