Salma Hayek Pinault (born Salma Valgarma Hayek , born September 2, 1966)[3][4][5]), is an American and Mexican actress. She began her career in Mexico by playing a lead role in the television drama Teresa (1989-1991) as well as the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she was awarded an Ariel Award nomination.
