McKayla Rose Maroney retired from artistic gymnastics and became a singer. She was part of the American female gymnastics team, the Fierce Five. In the Summer Olympics 2012, she won gold for team and silver in individual vault. Early life. McKayla Rose Maroney was born in Aliso Viejo, California, on December 9 1995. She is the daughter of Erin Maroney and Mike Maroney (died 2019). McKayla comes from Irish Catholic heritage. McKayla has two sisters, Tarynn and Kav, and was homeschooled in order to become an elite gymnast. Maroney recalls, "When i was a child, I would watch Tarzan and run across the floor on all fours. My mom would say, "I should put this kid in gymnastics." Lauren Drain was a member of Westboro Baptist Church and wrote Banished in 2013 that recounts her experiences, such as having to be exiled from the Church. Lauren was married to the fitness model David Kagan in August 2013. Aria Skye Kagan was born to the couple on 29th December, 2019. It was a brief time she lived on her own in Topeka but felt haunted with thoughts of being banished from her family and church. Her family was separated from her family and the church due to her mother, father siblings and brothers.
